How To “White Label” a Client’s Website
Before you white label a website it’s important that you read about White Label Mode, to understand exactly how White Label Mode works.
It’s also very important that you follow these steps IN SEQUENCE to fully White Label a website before giving your client access to it.
Step 1: Setup the Custom Domain
You’ll want to replace XYZ.restaurantengine.com with own domain URL (or your client’s domain name). After you setup the custom domain, both the public website and the dashboard will use that domain instead of the XYZ.restaurantengine.com.
Step 2: Disable the Restaurant Engine Credit
On the public website, you’ll notice a Restaurant Engine credit link at the bottom, which looks like this:

Disable this credit link by going to ‘Website Options’ > ‘Misc’ tab > Uncheck the box under “Restaurant Engine Credit”.
Step 3: Bookmark the White Label Settings Page
This is a very important step because after you enable White Label mode, the link to the White Label Settings page will be gone.
Visit the White Label Settings page by going to “Settings” > “White Label Settings”. Add the URL of this page to your bookmarks (or make a note of it). This way, should you ever need to turn off White Label mode, you can go to this page directly to do so.
The URL of the White Label Settings page is your website URL, followed by “/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=white-label-settings”. For example:
http://myrestaurant.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=white-label-settings
Step 4: Enable White Label Mode
After you’ve completed steps 1 – 3 above, you’re ready to turn on White Label mode. On the White Label Settings page (“Settings” > “White Label Settings”), check the box to enable White Lable mode and click “Save”.
The website is now in White Label mode and ready to give access to your client.
